On Friday, May 29, 2026, the Hydrocarbons Prices Stabilization Fund (HPSF) headquarters came alive with camaraderie, reflection, and celebration. Setting a celebratory tone ahead of Mother’s Day, the event underscored a strong sense of community and shared purpose. Under the leadership of its president Myriam NGONO NGONO, the association’s executive bureau successfully highlighted key professional achievements while reinforcing a culture of corporate solidarity and mutual support.

The event commenced with an inspiring welcome address by the President of the Association, Myriam Ngono Ngono. With elegance and warmth, the President set a collaborative tone for the day, which was quickly followed by a special welcome extended to the institution's newly recruited ladies. This gesture perfectly aligned with the mandate assigned to the bureau by HPSF Director General, OKIE Johnson NDOH, to foster harmony, inclusion, and a supportive working atmosphere for all female staff members.

A pivotal moment of the assembly was the presentation of the activity and financial reports, charting an impressive journey of impact from July 2025 through May 2026. The read-out painted a picture of a deeply engaged association that has successfully bridged professional development with social responsibility.

Over the past nine months, "The Golden Team" successfully executed a wide array of high impact initiatives:

• Empowerment and Leadership: Launching in July 2025 with a major training seminar focusing on Leadership and Benevolence alongside The Art of Table Setting and Entertaining, designed to boost interpersonal skills and workplace professionalism.
• Humanitarian Outreach: Marking the 41st International Women’s Day with compassionate donation visits to the Chantal Biya Foundation and the Bethany Viacam Humanitarian Centre.
• Cultural Integration: Organizing a diverse cultural fair where women from all ten regions of Cameroon proudly displayed traditional meals, dances, and local dialects to strengthen national unity.
• Wellness and Collaboration: Promoting team-building through an excursion to DADE Park and fostering inter-institutional camaraderie via a friendly football match against the Deposits and Consignment Fund (CDEC).

Following the presentation of these milestones, Sitina Kalli, the association’s Treasurer, took the floor to read the financial report. With transparency and accountability at the forefront, she requested that all members endeavor to pay their yearly dues promptly, ensuring the financial sustainability required to fuel the association's upcoming projects. The General Assembly transitioned from business to pure celebration as the floor opened for gift-giving. Special recognition and tokens of appreciation were handed over to members who had contributed exceptionally to the association's initiatives.

Finally, in the spirit of the upcoming Mother’s Day, the room filled with smiles and applause as the official Mother’s Day fabric was distributed to all mothers in attendance. The gesture served as a beautiful reminder of the dual roles these women play as pillars of their families and drivers of excellence within the HPSF.
