HPSF WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION (AFC)

BACKGROUND

The women of the HPSF, meeting at the constitutive General Assembly on 05 August 2020, decided, under the leadership of the General Manager, to create an association bringing together all female staff. Known as the «HPSF Women's Association (AFC) ", Golden Team is governed by law No. 90/053 of 19 December 1990 on the freedom of association.

As a non-political, lay, and non-profit organisation, its general objective is to work towards:

• Promoting the rights and role of the HPSF women in the society and family;
• Improving women's skills in areas such as cooking, children's education, safeguarding the marital home, etc....
• Managing personal finances.

 

From an organisational point of view, the AFC is made up of a General Assembly and an Executive Bureau.

The General Assembly is the supreme body of the Association and comprises all members who are duly registered and have paid their annual dues. It defines the Association's broad guidelines and ensures that the actions of the Executive Bureau are in line with the Association's objectives.

The Executive Bureau is the Association's governing body. It is made up of elected and appointed members and includes:

• A Chairlady;
• A Vice Chairlady;
• A  Secretary General;
• A Deputy Secretary General;
• A Treasurer;
• An Auditor

ACTIVITIES OF THE AFC

 

As part of its mission, the AFC is involved in activities reflecting the "Team Spirit One Family". Here we could mention, among others:

• The celebration of Mother's Day, the celebration of the International Women's Day, the celebration of birthdays, support for happy and sad events (weddings, births and bereavements), etc...
• Charitable activities. We could mention donations to orphans, to elderly people, to the needy and the underprivileged;
• Sports activities: in connection with specific themes such as the celebration of International Women's Day and the fight against breast cancer (Pink October), it regularly organises sporting activities such as keeping fit afternoons, football and handball matches with other companies.
• Educational talks on sensitive subjects, in particular "Pink October".
