Buffer negative effects of high international prices


The CSPH main role is the regulation of petroleum products prices by the regular supply of distribution centers. This is intended to encourage proximity consumption through harmonization of prices between depots.

In addition, great supports are being made on mass consumption petroleum products prices such as: kerosene and domestic gas protected by Government.

The importance of taxation gives rise to disparities of wealth, which are exacerbated by significant differences of charges, thus implementing tool to balance this environment. This tool is equalization and enables to measure and correct inequalities.
